running of the swamp rabbit

October 22, 2017

Join us on Sunday, October 22 for an easy-going group ride at the Swamp Rabbit Trail near Greenville, SC. Riders will enjoy approximately 40 miles of leisurely cycling roundtrip. The terrain on the Swamp Rabbit Trail is similar to the Greeneway in North Augusta, making it perfect for beginner riders or those who enjoy a more relaxed pace. This is a no drop ride, meaning no one is left behind! The terrain and pace is great for those who want to challenge themselves if they have never ridden this far on a bicycle before.

The group will stop for lunch at the turnaround point in Greenville, so be sure to bring money for a meal or pack your own lunch. There's also an opportunity to look in shops if you're interested in some shopping. This is a self contained ride, which means you'll need to bring your own supplies including water, spare tubes, etc.

The ride starts at Travelers Rest at 9:30am. This puts the group into Greenville around 11:00-11:30am.
